Boothroyd: we must hold our nerve

ADRIAN Boothroyd urged Watford to keep their nerve after they soared back to the top of the Championship when Jobi McAnuff’s first goal of the season saw off Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 at Hillsborough.

The Hornets’ midfielder struck in the sixth minute to secure his side only their second win in eight league matches.

“We’re thrilled with the win,” said Boothroyd. “It’s getting tighter and tighter up there. As we’ve seen many times anybody can beat anybody and we’ve all got to keep our nerve and keep going.”
