Hartley: Celtic a match for Europe’s best

PAUL HARTLEY has warned the rest of Europe that Celtic can be a match for anyone in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The Scottish champions booked their place in the last 16 last night despite losing 1-0 to AC Milan.

Shakhtar Donetsk’s defeat at the hands of Benfica in the other Group D game allowed Celtic to finish second behind the Italians regardless of events at the San Siro.
