Adidas unveil Euro 2008 match ball

ADIDAS have unveiled the official match ball for the UEFA European 2008 Championships for use in Austria and Switzerland next summer.

The match ball features a striking new ‘pimple’ effect that enables truer flight. It works on the same aerodynamic principles used in golf ball design.

The mini ‘pimples’ enable more grip and swerve when the ball is kicked, but also help goalkeepers when catching the ball.
