Cotterill recalled for Ireland clash

TEENAGER David Cotterill has been given the chance to salvage his Wales future.

With boss John Toshack being forced to overlook captain Craig Bellamy for the final two Euro 2008 qualifiers against the Republic of Ireland and Germany later this month, fellow striker Cotterill is at last back in the fold.

Cotterill fell out with Toshack earlier in the season when his attitude was questioned and he was consigned to a spell in the under-21s under Brian Flynn.
