Caldwell: home form can take Scotland to finals

SCOTLAND defender Gary Caldwell believes their impressive home form can take them to the European Championship finals, writes Gavin McCafferty.

Wednesday’s defeat in Georgia has left the Scots needing a victory over Italy at Hampden on November 17 to be guaranteed a place in Austria and Switzerland.

But the Scots have won all of their home games in Group B so far and Caldwell, who scored the winner against France at Hampden a year ago, believes they can add world champions to their list of conquests.
