Keogh ‘shocked’ by new wing role

IF the decision to start Andy Keogh on the right of the Irish midfield took you by surprise on Saturday, don’t feel too bad.

Keogh himself didn’t see Steve Staunton’s latest curve ball come either.

“It was a bit of a shock alright,” said the Wolves striker who only found out about his selection on the morning of the game. “I was a bit nervous but it was a great moment and I was just delighted to get the chance to perform.
