Ramos favourite to take charge in 08/09

AVRAM GRANT is not favourite to be in charge of Chelsea on the first day of next season, according to the bookies.

The Israeli manager was yesterday confirmed as the London’s club’s replacement for out-going boss Jose Mourinho.

But Ladbrokes make Sevilla coach Juande Ramos (pictured) the 2/1 favourite to steer the club into the 2008/09 season.

Grant is priced at 5/2 with former Stamford Bridge player Didier Deschamps 9/2 and Guus Hiddink 5/1 to take the helm.
