Suspended Koller out for Czechs

CZECH REPUBLIC striker Jan Koller has been ruled out of Wednesday’s Euro 2008 qualifying clash against the Republic of Ireland through suspension.

Koller was booked after 62 minutes of Saturday night’s 3-0 win in San Marino and will now sit out the clash with the Irish in Prague.

Coach Karel Bruckner has called up Libor Dosek as Koller’s replacement.

“The loss of Koller for the home game against Ireland is simply a complication,” Bruckner said.

“The choice of Libor Dosek seems to be the most suitable solution as we would not be forced to change the style of our play.”
