The forgettable four

DESPITE all that talk about the greening of Sunderland, it seems that at least one of the club’s players hasn’t succumbed to all things Irish.

A quiz in the Stadium of Light programme for last Saturday’s game against Spurs pitted captain Dean Whitehead against defender Danny Collins.

The latter actually won, by eight points to seven, but not before coming a spectacular cropper in the music section when he was asked to name the famous band formed in 1976 and consisting of Paul Hewson, Dave Evans, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jnr.
