Long signs Royals deal

READING have agreed new contracts with four members of their first-team squad.

Striker Shane Long, 20, has signed until 2011, 29-year-old defender Ivar Ingimarsson and midfielder James Harper, 26, have extended their deals until 2010 while Simon Cox, 20, has signed on for a further year.

Stephen Hunt, who has reportedly been attracting the interest of Premier League rivals Bolton, Sunderland and West Ham, could have agreed a new contract by the end of this week.
