Richardson in talks on possible O’Callaghan move to Ipswich Town

CORK CITY boss Damien Richardson will today have talks with his Ipswich Town counterpart, Jim Magilton, on a possible move by midfielder George O’Callaghan to Portman Road.

But Dunfermline boss Stephen Kenny, is also keen on the ‘want away’ Cork man and has asked to be kept informed of developments.

Initially Cork turned down a request by Ipswich to take the player on loan to the end of the Championship season. Now it is understood that the East Anglian side may be prepared to make an offer in excess of €50,000.
