Macca set for Hong Kong return

FORMER England international Steve McManaman is on the verge of signing for Hong Kong First Division League side Hong Kong Rangers.

The 34-year-old former Liverpool and Real Madrid midfielder, who said he had retired in 2005 after an unsuccessful spell with Manchester City, could link up with Rangers before the end of the year.

Since leaving City, McManaman has been working as a TV analyst for ESPN Star in Asia during 2006.
