Keane to probe sex-film claims

THREE shamed Sunderland players could face disciplinary action after they were caught on film taking part in a sex romp.

In the seven-minute video, the players are filmed with a mystery brunette referred to as “Stevie”.

Goalkeeper Ben Alnwick, 19, Irish winger Liam Lawrence, 24, and striker Chris Brown, 21, are identified as being involved.

Their ex-teammate Martin Woods, 20, now with Rotherham Utd, and two other men, were also at the flat.

The three can expect to face the wrath of manager Roy Keane and chairman Niall Quinn as an investigation gets under way.

During the filming, England under-21 star Alnwick winks at the camera as he takes part in an act.

It is also alleged Brown does a “Match of the Day” style commentary during the video.

The club’s communications director, Lesley Callaghan, said: “The behaviour of any individual that adversely affects the image or good name of Sunderland FC is obviously disappointing, and we will be handling this matter”

Republic of Ireland player Lawrence was sent on loan to Stoke City last month, while Woods was released from the club in the summer. Alnwick has agreed to join Spurs in January.
