Derry seek crucial win in quest to snatch title

DERRY CITY’S chase of league leaders Shelbourne continues tonight when they make the long trip to Waterford in search of another vital three points against the league’s bottom side.

With news of manager Stephen Kenny’s departure to Dunfermline at the end of the season making this clash all the more important for the Candystripes, the problem for them is that they are still working in the dark until the decision of the arbiter into the Bohemians-Shelbourne fiasco is make public sometime this week.

As things stand, Derry are three points behind Shels, but that may change depending on the decision.
