Gazza released on bail after photographer assault claim

PAUL GASCOIGNE has been released on bail until December after being arrested for allegedly assaulting a photographer.

The former England, Newcastle, Lazio and Tottenham midfielder was held on suspicion of actual bodily harm in South Kensington, west London, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

He was arrested after a 43-year-old man alleged he had been assaulted at a nightclub in the area.

It is understood the alleged incident took place outside Boujis nightclub in South Kensington, which is popular with celebrities.

The victim of the alleged assault, who is thought to be a photographer, is not believed to have required hospital treatment.
