Benitez stands firm on rotation policy

RAFAEL BENITEZ is set to live up to his reputation yet again – by changing his Liverpool team for the 94th successive time, for their Champions League Group C match against Galatasaray.

Despite constant criticism, particularly from the army of ex-Liverpool stars who are now television pundits, the Spaniard barely considers for one second that they might have a point when they demand he picks his best side and sticks by it.

Jamie Carragher was on the bench for Saturday’s Premiership victory over Tottenham but will surely return against the Turks at Anfield tonight as Liverpool aim to build on their opening draw against PSV in Eindhoven.
