McLeish ready for return

FORMER Rangers boss Alex McLeish has revealed he is ready for a return to management. The former Scotland international has been taking a sabbatical from the game following his departure from Ibrox at the end of last season.

But McLeish — who has been linked with the vacant Leeds United job — is now keen on a quick return to football.

He said: “There’s no doubt about it, I am getting itchy feet again. If there is an extraordinary offer and it’s an offer I really, really fancy, then things can change in an instant.”
