Kuyt aims to open Reds account

DIRK KUYT returned home to Holland vowing to score the goals to get Liverpool off on the right foot in their Champions League campaign — and wipe away the bitter memory of their derby defeat by Everton.

Liverpool certainly need a telling intervention against PSV Eindhoven from their £10 million (€14.7m) striker, signed from Feyenoord last month, as he bids to score his first goal for the Anfield club.

And a confident Kuyt believes he can add to the goal he scored with a header for Holland against Belarus last week.
