Gunner Baptista hoping to shoot Arsenal to title

JULIO BAPTISTA believes his arrival can help push Arsenal into the Barclays Premiership title race.

The 24-year-old joined the Gunners on transfer deadline day from Real Madrid as part of the loan package which saw Jose Antonio Reyes head in the opposite direction.

Baptista has already seen action at his new Emirates Stadium home, having come off the bench during Brazil’s 3-0 win over Argentina on Sunday.
