Petrov is gambling with his career, says Celtic skipper

Neil Lennon has warned Stilian Petrov he would be gambling with his career if he carries out his threat to walk away from Celtic.

Petrov, 26, submitted a transfer request towards the end of last season, which was immediately rejected.

So far, the only concrete offer has been from Portsmouth whose bid of £3.5million fell well short of Celtic’s valuation.
