Athlone pile on the misery for Dundalk

ATHLONE withstood a second half Dundalk rally to claim the points at Oriel Park last night.

Athlone took the lead after 10 minutes with a header from Jim Sheridan. On 24 minutes Brian McCarthy added a second.

Duffy pulled one back for Dundalk on 74 minutes.
