Pennant’s not going, says Brady

BIRMINGHAM managing director Karren Brady has refuted claims that midfielder Jermaine Pennant is on the verge of a £3.5 million (€5m) move to Liverpool.

Pennant’s not going, says Brady

Brady insists the Blues have had no contact from Liverpool and would reject any approach for Pennant.

Pennant has previously intimated his desire to stay at St Andrews despite his club’s relegation last season and Brady said: “We want to get out of this division as soon as possible. Therefore we will be buying players and not selling them as our aim is to go into the Championship with the best squad in the league.”
