RICHARD DUNNE is looking to Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce to turn the club into a top-six Premiership side.

Dunne signs three-year City extension

Republic of Ireland centre-back Dunne yesterday signed a new three-year contract which will keep him at City until 2009, while Paul Dickov joined from Blackburn on a two-year deal.

At one stage last season City were flying and pushing for a potential UEFA Cup spot, only for the campaign to collapse on the back of nine defeats in their last 10 matches.
