Stubbs signs new Everton deal

EVERTON defender Alan Stubbs has signed a new one-year contract to keep him at Goodison Park next season.

The Liverpudlian centre-half returned to Everton on a six-month deal last season after a brief spell at Sunderland.

And the 34-year-old has agreed a longer-term deal with the Toffees to keep him with the club until the end of next season.
