WEST BROM have rejected a £3.5m bid from Tottenham for central defender Curtis Davies.

Manager Bryan Robson believes the England U21 international has a pivotal role to play as Albion bid to regain their Premiership status.

Robson confirmed: “We’ve turned down an offer from Tottenham for Curtis. He is not for sale. If we can keep all of the boys together and bring in a couple of new players, I believe we will have a really good chance next season.”
