Strachan sounds warning

GORDON STRACHAN insists Celtic will not be “sitting back” and getting too big for their boots.

Strachan sounds warning

The Parkhead manager is under the impression the likes of Rangers, Hearts and Hibernian can sense complacency creeping into the league and CIS Cup double winners.

But Strachan has hit back with a warning to other top-flight clubs and also his own players.

“Everybody is telling us what they are going to do as if we are sitting back as if we think we are great.

“We think we are half decent, that’s as far as we think we are, so we have to try and be very good.”

Celtic have already signed Derek Riordan, Kenny Miller and Gary Caldwell on free transfers while Sparta Prague claim Celtic are favourites to land Czech Republic Under-21s star Michal Kadlec.
