LuaLua in fitness race

PORTSMOUTH have put striker Lomana LuaLua in an oxygen tank in a bid to get him fit for their last two games of the season.

LuaLua in fitness race

LuaLua damaged an ankle celebrating an equaliser against Arsenal two weeks ago and has tried painkilling injections before the last two matches but could still not play.

Pompey could stay up this weekend if they win at Wigan and other results go their way, and manager Harry Redknapp believes the return of LuaLua and midfielder Pedro Mendes would greatly enhance their chances of avoiding the drop.
