Republic of Ireland boss, Brian Kerr was not a happy man after Arsenal’s Thierry Henry scored that dramatic 68th minute winner in last night’s tense world cup clash at Lansdowne Road.

"Now, it is very simple we have to win our last two games next month away to Cyprus and then home to Switzerland if we are to have a chance of reaching the finals in Germany next summer," said Kerr.

"I cannot complain about my team's performance. They gave it everything but it was not good enough on the night.
