Mourinho wants to monopolise players

JOSE MOURINHO has told his players they must forget international football because nothing matters more than Chelsea.

The Blues coach was left cursing the international schedule after an injury to defender Asier Del Horno just three minutes from the end of their 2-0 win over Sunderland at Stamford Bridge ruled the left-back out of their Champions League clash with Belgian side Anderlecht tomorrow.

Mourinho has tried hard to disguise his dislike of the disruption caused to his plans by international call-ups but his frustration has been worsened this season because most of his players are determined to book a place in next summer’s World Cup finals in Germany.
