Cobh, Limerick meet in replay

AFTER a 3-3 draw at St Colman’s Park on Friday night, Cobh and Limerick do battle again in the FAI Carlsberg Cup at Pike Rovers Sports Grounds this evening (6.30pm).

Cobh, Limerick meet in replay

Limerick manager Mike Kerley is cagey about his side’s advantages.

“We can cause anyone a problem at home but we’re looking at going into the game with only 11 or 12 players,” he said.

With Dutchman Jalmard Kulsten ruled out because of a family bereavement and Alan Barry doubtful, Kerley may be forced to select himself while ’keeper Jimmy Fyffe returns to the squad.

Cobh welcome back John Andrews from suspension but are without Kieron O’Reilly who serves a one-match ban.

“It was disappointing not to win the first game. To lead twice and not get a win is disappointing but that’s what Cup games can be like,” said manager Dave Hill.
