ROY KEANE was told last night by his peers he was ill-judged and badly advised to use his explosive new autobiography to reopen his feud with Alf-Inge Haaland.

Gordon Taylor, chief executive of players’ PFA union, reckons Keane’s admission that he deliberately tried to injure Haaland has left him vulnerable to a legal challenge from the Manchester City defender.

Taylor said: “Whilst it may make good copy and profits for the book publishers and the writer, it puts Roy in a bad position.
