FUR deny Hiddlink link

THE Russian football union have denied reports its president Vitali Mutko has told national team players Guus Hiddink will be their new coach.

It was claimed Mutko made the announcement ahead of tonight’s friendly with Brazil but a spokesperson said no appointment had been made.

However, Hiddink’s agent Cees van Nieuwenhuzien has confirmed the PSV Eindhoven and Australia boss is in talks with the FUR.
