Gravesen’s agent denies approach from Real Madrid

Newspapers in Spain have strongly linked the Denmark international with a £3million move to the Bernabeu and some reports claimed representative John Sivebaek was in the Spanish capital to finalise a deal.

However Sivebaek, speaking from Denmark, has denied he has received any official approach from Real.

“I’ve heard that Real Madrid are interested but there has been nothing official from them,” Sivebaek said.

“All I can say is that I’ve had contact with many big clubs - so it’s not just about Madrid. Around half a dozen clubs have expressed an interest.

“Some papers even said I was in Madrid having talks, but that’s ridiculous, I’m actually in Denmark.”
