SHELBOURNE will know more about their championship credentials after tonight’s match against Derry City at Tolka Park (7.45pm) where manager Pat Fenlon will have a full-strength squad to pick from.

Shelbourne were not stretched in beating newly promoted Waterford last weekend and Fenlon will be glad of the return of centre-back Tony McCarthy and winger Wes Hoolahan after injury for what should be a much more searching test.

Derry City disappointed when losing their opening game 2-3 to Longford Town at the Brandywell but the return of the experienced Peter Hutton after serving a one-match suspension will do much to lift them.
