Tiatto aims to prove Keegan wrong

DANNY TIATTO has vowed to prove Kevin Keegan wrong for ditching him this summer.

Tiatto aims to prove Keegan wrong

The combative Australian midfielder is looking for a new club after his six largely enjoyable years with the Blues were brought to an end when Keegan refused to offer him a new deal.

Tiatto was frozen out by Keegan this term, starting just one Barclaycard Premiership game despite City’s abysmal campaign.

The move mystified most Blues fans, who felt Tiatto’s aggressive style was exactly what City needed to drag them out of their slump.

But the 30-year-old returned Down Under for his country’s crucial World Cup qualifier with main Oceania rivals New Zealand in Adelaide on May 29 knowing if he returns to Eastlands, it will be with another club.

“I would like to stay in the Premier League and prove a few people wrong,” he said.

Half a dozen clubs, including three Premiership outfits, have expressed an interest in the player.
