Mario puts club before future

MARIO MELCHIOT is putting all thoughts about his own future on hold to help Birmingham’s battle to stay in the Premiership.

The former Chelsea defender is out of contract in the summer and would be entitled to leave on a Bosman transfer.

But Melchiot is determined on trying to rescue Steve Bruce’s side from their current plight.
