FAI chief responds to enquiries

FAI CHIEF executive, Mr Fran Rooney, last night responded to enquiries about the financial affairs of the Association by offering delegates to the Senior Council a copy of the monthly financial statement he provides for board members.

He said: "I prepare a thorough financial pack every month for board members. It is something I am used to doing in general business so that every board member is kept right up to date.

"The delegates welcomed my invitation to examine this pack as something new for the Association. And in keeping with our policy of openness and transparency the officers are available to go through this pack and explain it in detail to anyone who wants an explanation."
