Keegan plans to sign two new players in next week

KEVIN KEEGAN expects to confirm two new signings next week in a bid to freshen up his under-performing Manchester City squad.

The former England coach has been told there will be no cash available for transfers this summer but has created some space in City’s wage bill by dumping out-of-contract trio Danny Tiatto, Gerard Wiekens and Michael Tarnat.

Keegan said: “I have already started looking to next season and I hope to sign two new players in the next week.
