Cambridge name Le Roy

DIVISION THREE strugglers Cambridge yesterday unveiled former Cameroon and Senegal coach Claude Le Roy as their new manager.

The Frenchman, who won the African Nations Cup with Cameroon in 1988 and has coached Paris St Germain and United Arab Emirates and Malaysia, replaces John Taylor.

United chairman Gary Harwood said: "In Claude we have secured the services of one of the most respected managers in Europe, if not the world, and this is possibly the most exciting appointment the club has ever made.
