Wide boys face tough Chelsea challenge

JESPER GRONKJAER has joined Damien Duff in vowing to fight for his Chelsea place despite admitting his frustration at the growing competition for places on the club’s left flank.

From the start of next season, Gronkjaer and Duff will be joined by stg£12million new signing Arjen Robben in contesting a starting role on that wing.

Republic of Ireland international Duff has already admitted the capture of such a similar player like Robben has been a “kick in the teeth” for him.
