KENNY DAGLISH is not one of the six applicants for the job of manager of Ireland who will be interviewed over the next couple of days by the officers of the FAI.

The interviews will be conducted at a secret venue in England by the three FAI officers president Milo Corcoran, hon secretary and acting CEO Kevin Fahy, and hon treasurer John Delaney, with Bryan Hamilton, the former Northern Ireland international, as adviser.

Dalglish initially signalled his interest in the vacancy, but after talks with Bryan Hamilton he declined the invitation to meet with the FAI officers.
