Mancini named as Inter coach

Roberto Mancini has been named as the new coach of Inter Milan, the Italian club have confirmed.

The former Lazio boss replaces Alberto Zaccheroni, who resigned last month after Inter finished fourth in Serie A, 23 points behind champions AC Milan.

Mancini, who starred as a player for Sampdoria and Lazio, has signed a three-year deal.
