DEFIANT Robbie Keane is determined to follow Michael Owen's example and silence the critics who say he has lost his goal-scoring touch.

The Irish striker failed to hit the mark again last night in his fourth match for Tottenham since his £7million move from Leeds in August.

And as Keane missed chance after chance it was lucky for Spurs that skipper Teddy Sheringham hit the target with a first-half effort that saw off Second Division leaders Cardiff in the Worthington Cup.
