Dowie and Jol clear the air

CRYSTAL PALACE boss Iain Dowie and Tottenham manager Martin Jol have drawn a line under their public slanging match and settled their differences.

A row erupted between the pair when Dowie criticised Tottenham’s tactics during their defeat at Aston Villa.

Jol hit back by claiming the Eagles boss was “not fit to mend my shoelace,” provoking Dowie to tell the Dutchman to “show some balls” and meet him face to face.
