Broadwood to rival Broadway for the day

FOR the next 24 hours Clyde FC and its Cumbernauld hinterland will be the centre of the football world. Literally.

The little Scottish club has been fielding media requests all week for facilities for tomorrow's visit from Celtic, the most distant application coming from Japan.

No prizes for guessing why. Roy Keane's arrival at Parkhead and impending debut at Clyde's home ground, Broadwood, mean that the past week has been a little unusual for the Bully Wee, as Clyde are affectionately known.
