Redknapp handed FA fine

PORTSMOUTH manager Harry Redknapp has been fined €2,200 abusing an official when in charge of their arch-rivals Southampton.

Redknapp had originally denied the charge but subsequently changed his plea after requesting a personal hearing at the FA.

The incident took place when Redknapp was sent from the dug-out during the Saints’ match at Derby on September 18.
