Morrison tips Heskey for England return

CLINTON Morrison has hailed his Birmingham strike partner Emile Heskey as “a re-born player” and believes he deserves an England recall.

Heskey's international days looked to be behind him after receiving no call-ups by Sven-Goran Eriksson since the friendly with the Ukraine in August a game he had to withdraw from through injury.

But the Blues' £6.25m record signing has been in inspired form in recent weeks and scored his fifth goal in the last six matches during the 3-0 FA Cup triumph over Leeds.
