Eto’o inspires Cameroon win

BARCELONA striker Samuel Eto’o was again on target as Cameroon beat Togo 2-0 in Cairo to qualify for the African Nations Cup quarter-finals.

Eto’o, who netted a hat-trick in his side’s opening victory over Angola, lit up a forgettable Group B clash with a 25-yard strike in the 68th minute. He then turned provider to set up Albert Meyong Ze for the second in the closing stages.

The Democratic Republic of Congo look likely to join Cameroon in the last eight after holding out for a 0-0 draw against Angola with 10 men.
