Goal drought continues for Longford

GOAL-SHY Longford failed to score for the seventh time in nine league games as Drogheda came away from Flancare Park on Saturday night with a share of the spoils.

Town striker Eric Lavine hit the post after just three minutes while Declan O’Brien had Drogheda’s best chance, with Stephen O’Brien saving bravely with his feet.
