Kerr: Fergie has great faith in O'Shea

REPUBLIC of Ireland manager Brian Kerr believes John O'Shea received a vote of confidence from Alex Ferguson last month when the Man Utd boss did not sign a defender during the transfer window.

United have been shipping goals at an alarming rate in recent weeks, conceding 11 in their last five games.

Kerr claims Ferguson does not blame O'Shea for the leaks, and he is just happy to see the 22-year-old playing regularly for the Red Devils.
